Budgie Vest

So here's the story. This is Sandwhich. He's Bullet's mate. It must not be easy being the Queen's mate. For some reason she bit him about four days ago in the side. I have no idea why this has never happened and they've been together for years. I went in the room and they all acted innocent despite all the screaming I heard. But I could see he had a small bite in his right side. I didn't think any thing of it it would heal. Well I hadn't counted on him picking it. It got infected and got very large. So today was the vet appointment. He got an antibiotic shot and both the vet and I came up with an idea to put him in a vest because the "cone of shame" they had was too big for him.  I thought it was so funny the vet got my fave color with pretty dark blue stars and it matches Sandwich perfectly. He hated it. I held him and she taped him up. Looks like he's wearing a vest and this reminds me of Gamma's art. I never thought I'd see it in real life. This should keep him from picking himself.  When we let him go he kept falling over and sticking his feet in the vest so he couldn't walk. I forced him to perch when we got him but he kept being dramatic so I gave up.  Later on he was standing on the perch.  And putting him back with Bullet was a bad idea. She attacked him because he was flopping around so he's in his own cage until he can recover. Here he is finally standing on his own.

 Ha he looks good wearing clothes and this whole mess kind of gives me a possible idea for my Fear story as this sort of reminds me of Fear's vest.
